Our Programming
Our culinary arts programming offers a diverse and unique assortment of cooking classes for children ages 2½ through teens. We vary class offerings continuously as this option allows children to take advantage of learning the newest culinary trends while keeping the traditional values of cooking incorporated into all our programming. We offer 4 week culinary sessions or individual classes.
Now We're Cooking- Pre-school Culinary Classes
Classes are designed for an adult and child cooking team. Offered in 4 week sessions, each engaging 1 hour class is based on an interactive story followed by correlating cooking activities. 2.5- 4.5 year olds with Adult.
After School Culinary Programs
Classes are designed for school age children only. Culinary Arts classes are offered in 4 week sessions to children in these age ranges:
5- 8 year olds · 8- 12 year olds · 12- Teens
Week-end Culinary Classes
It's your choice! Choose from our extraordinary assortment of culinary classes from traditional to trendy. Pick one class or try them all!
Individual classes are offered on Saturday or Sunday. Classes are offered to children in these age ranges:
5- 8 year olds · 8- 12 year olds · 12- Teens
Additional Culinary Programs
Girl Scouts of America and Boy Scouts
We offer classes at discounted rates for all Girls and Boy Scout troops, Campfire USA, and Indian Guides. As a field trip "indoor adventure" your troop/group will get hands-on experience in the kitchen creating tasty treats and learning kitchen safety rules while having the opportunity to earn those all important badges!
Home School Enrichment Classes
Our skilled culinary instructors will help create a program of classes for your home school curriculum as enrichment classes offered in our culinary center.
Special Needs Children
Our culinary staff will graciously accommodate and plan appropriate programming for all special needs children. We encourage organizations and societies to contact your local Batter Up Kids Culinary Center to coordinate efforts and plan these cooking classes. Discounts available.
